On August 15, 2015, KPE Global, LLC became the newest engineering consultancy firm in the oil and gas, chemical, and marine industries. Kicking off a three-day working weekend at the office of Parallax Energy in Houston, Texas, the three KPE Global founding partners held all-day meetings to finalize a list of administrative and business development tasks in order to "open doors."
KPE Global, LLC is an engineering firm comprised of three founding partners, Tom Hecker, Justin Ray, and Louie DeCarlo, with a combined thirty plus years experience in the oil and gas, chemical, and maritime engineering industries. Each of the three founding partners has been successful as mid-level engineers and project managers. KPEG has developed multiple professional relationships with influential managers at client facilities. Having an entrepreneurial mindset, KPEG has been created by three determined, talented, and hardworking engineers who have always shared the vision of leading and growing a business.
While KPEG itself is young, the roots of KPEG has over twenty years experience in executing feasibility and FEL studies, completing detailed design packages, and supporting start-up, turn-around, and commissioning efforts for small, mid, and large-scale clients in the oil, gas, and chemical companies. Additionally, KPEG has over twelve years experience providing marine engineering solutions to the Cruise, Container and Tanker shipping industries. Its diverse project and client list enables KPEG to be a "one-stop shop" engineering consultancy firm for all of its customer needs.
As United States Merchant Marine alumni, the founding partners have been developing their leadership and management skillsets at a highly regarded academic institution since 2002. Collectively, they have served in the United States military for over thirty years. As reservists, they have served as Strategic Sealift Officers, and as an active duty officer, Thomas Hecker has served in Afghanistan. KPEG is excited to translate its invaluable military experience to client services and needs.
